A Master’s degree in project management is sought after by many organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. This course is suitable for graduates in business, computing and engineering who are particularly interested in organising, running or participating in projects.

The master’s programme is designed so that you can complete your course in a 12 month period. You will develop a broad comprehension of the most important concepts in project management with a strategic perspective in a global context. You will apply theoretical concepts and project management models to real life case studies, in a practice based environment. The programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a career in a rapidly changing work environment, a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development and a significant exposure to the world of work and its current demands.

The course offers the development of in depth intellectual and professional knowledge of project management that is covered by a range of modules including Systems Design & Management of Projects; Project Finance & Procurement and Managing People & Organisations. This range of subject areas will enable you to take-up or further your professional qualifications as well as your academic qualifications. Furthermore you will gain valuable experience in research within your specialist field through the completion of a dissertation, also presentation, communication, team work and critical problem solving skills.

Course Requirements

  • 2:2 or above from a UK Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualifications.
  • International requirements – an English language level equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
