The programme
It seeks to give students a learning experience that allows them to develop proficiencies that create effective managerial behavior in different organisations in today’s changing business environment.
The curriculum and learning and teaching strategy are complemented by guest lectures and ‘live’ workshops to promote independent learning and increasing their employability skills for the future. Year 1 provides you with a good understanding of the foundations of business. Years 2 and 3 gives you a thorough grounding in the more specialist concepts and applications of strategic management.
The programme provides the intellectual underpinnings required for a career in a rapidly changing work environment, a rigorous approach to self-awareness and personal development and a significant exposure to the world of work and its current demands through work experinece opportunities. The degree is ideal for those interested in a future career in International Business or Strategy. The programme offers students a thorough grounding in business and the more specialist concepts and applications of international management and strategy.
Through the learning experiences offered, and the skills and competences gained, students will understand effective managerial behaviour developed in today’s complex organizations and turbulent international business environments.
Students will also have an opportunity to qualify for the CMI Level 5 Certificate in Management and Leadership, dependent on successful completion of relevant modules.
